About Wire Jewelry Art

Hi, my name is Cheryl. I am a self-taught jewelry designer and have been working with wire to make jewelry since 1999. Wire jewelry art is the term I use to describe the art of wire wrapped jewelry using some basic foundation wire work techniques and adding new materials and my own "twist" to create one of a kind jewelry art to wear.

I have been an artist since I could hold my first crayon. Spending many hours entertaining myself as a child, drawing and creating things, I have tried just about every medium to explore. The art of jewelry making has captured my passion and I welcome you to view my art work, join me in an exploration of this wire jewelry art or purchase one of my creations for yourself or someone you love.

This blog, www.wirejewelryart.blogspot.com, is devoted specifically to my wire jewelry art work and the creation of wire jewelry using cold connection techniques (using no heat or torch to join metals) and possibly some soldering of metals.
